This weekend was the New Zealand Fashion Festival featuring many fabulous shows and creative designers. One that really caught my eye was lingerie designer, Emma Highfield.

Emma is a freelance costume and lingerie designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. She handcrafts everything herself, showing just how talented this young designer is. Not only does she create lingerie, she also makes exquisite fascinators which are a ‘stand out’ at the races. Her pieces are simply stunning and she can also make one-offs to fit your style and to ensure that your piece is unique and one of a kind.

Emma’s collection is making a stamp in the world of fashion both locally and internationally and is featured every year in the glamorous ‘Miss Lingerie Model New Zealand’ event. The luscious fabrics ranging from lace, velvet, silk and satin make these garments hard to resist. Her collections feature many fun, feminine and romantic pieces. The silk bed boxers from the ‘Heart Goes Boom’ 2011 Collection, is a necessity for very girl for those lazy Sundays relaxing in bed.
